Music

Ahh.. music, possibly the single most important thing in my world. It helps me keep my sanity, helps keep my mind clear, and helps me get by day after day. I love playing music, I love listening to music, I love concerts, heck, I love just about everything having to do with music.

Some of my favorite bandas include Nine Inch Nails, Bad Religion, Blink 182, Fenix TX, Rage Against the Machine, Filter, Green Day, The Reel Big Fish, The Guess Who, Jefferson Airplane/Starship, K's Choice, Tracy Bonham, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley and the Wailers, Janis Jopelin, Savage Garden, KMFDM, Live, Lords of Acid, Love Split Love, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, No Doubt, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Operation Ivy, Orbital, Sublime, Portishead, Powerman 5000, Letters to Cleo, Praga Khan, Queen, Screeching Weasel, The Smashing Pumpkins. The list just goes on and on. That's why i always say "I like everything" when people ask me what my favorite bands are. For a better example, check out this link to see my winamp playlist, and get an idea of my tastes. So you know, that playlist gets added to daily, so you can pretty much bet it's out of date already.

Local Bands

I love local music. I've been trying to start myself a nice ska band, but it's hard to find a good ska guitarist, and any worthwhile horn players. But a few of my friends have started up bands, and a few of them are making it pretty well. Local music kicks, and music just sounds so much better when you don't just know the name of the band on stage, but the band members actually know your name too.
